Black Mold in Attic

What you see here is black mold growth in a homes attic. The cause was over time the homes roof has aged, and has small leaks when ever there is moisture outside.  With the constant temperate change in the attic and dark atmosphere its an ideal place for mold to grow.  While the attic is not the worst place for mold to grow it still should be removed and taken care of properly.  SERVPRO of Society Hill was able to come out and clean the mold up in one days time!  The roof was sprayed with a chemical that will prevent mold from growing as fast.  Also a sealant was applied, so that until the homeowner can replace the roof the leaking will not be as severe.
