Flooded Carpet!

This homes first floor was flooded out after a few days of steady rain flow, and the low elevation location of the home. The carpeted room shown here was hit the hardest, as all the water was soaked into it.  With the homeowners acting quickly and reaching out to SERVPRO of Society Hill. Our crew was able to respond quickly, and begin extracting the water before it did to much damage and would not be able to be salvaged.  With quick action the carpet did not have to be torn up.  After all the water was removed all that needed to be done was the drying process.  Air movers were placed strategically to ensure drying was done most effectively.  Two days later the floors were completely dried out and back to normal.  The family was more than pleased with how quickly and the superb job SERVPRO of Society Hill did.
